Staying Organised

Organisation is key in not just work but also with everything.

How I stay organised is mainly through bullet journaling. If you haven't heard about it before, bullet journaling is more than simply writing things down, it is creating charts, graphs, and layouts to track anything and everything. That's the beauty of it, there are no rules, you can create your own bullet journal layouts tailored to your own needs.

The most popular way of doing things is to either track daily or weekly. Depending on how busy you might be, or how much you want to write down, you might find you have too much or too little to fill your page. But that's fine, it took me a while to decide on a layout that worked for me.

I have found that tracking things weekly works best for me. On one page I draw out each day of the week, then list each task for that day. Below the week days I plan out trackers for on going tasks which will be colour coded. These tasks will set out my weekly goals, to then be spread out over the rest of the week. The other page I leave completely blank, ready to be filled with random notes or reminders that will come in useful later. This way I have a balance of a set schedule of tasks to do whilst having the freedom to organise unforeseen tasks or projects.
